Website analytics

MyStormRisk uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and broad feature usage. For U.S. visitors, analytics is enabled by default unless a browser Global Privacy Control signal or a saved opt-out is present. Visitors in regions where prior consent is required are asked before analytics storage is enabled.

Google advertising storage, Google Signals, ad-user-data use, and ad personalization are disabled. MyStormRisk does not use the Meta Pixel.

What analytics receives

Analytics events may include the page path, page title, general device and browser information, and whether a feature such as address lookup or email signup was used. MyStormRisk does not send the text of an address search, an email address, or a phone number to Google Analytics. Page-view tracking removes query parameters from the recorded page location.

Your choices

Use the “Privacy choices” button in the lower corner of any page to allow or disable analytics. MyStormRisk also honors Global Privacy Control by keeping analytics disabled. Disabling analytics removes MyStormRisk Google Analytics cookies when possible.

Email and account information

Information submitted for weather emails, the Pro interest list, or a private account is used to provide or manage the requested service. It is not included in Google Analytics events. Weather email subscriptions use confirmation and unsubscribe controls.

Service providers and changes

Google processes analytics data under its own service terms and privacy documentation. This notice may be updated as MyStormRisk features or providers change.
